Bluegreen believes that the increase in sales of VOIs in 2022 reflect the recovery from the pandemic and high demand for domestic travel despite ongoing COVID-19 cases and higher interest rates and inflationary trends.

Cost of sales is typically favorably impacted in periods where a significant amount of secondary market VOI inventory is acquired and actual defaults and equity trades are higher and the resulting change in estimate is recognized.
