Fifty dollars doesn’t go very far today—unless you’re looking for under-$50 stocks to buy now and round out your portfolio. Although inflation growth may be declining, the current cost of goods and services remains significantly higher than two years ago. This discrepancy exists because inflation indexes measure ongoing growth, not actual price differences, leading to persistently low consumer confidence despite apparently positive inflation statistics. At the same time, high-flying tech stocks

As inflation gets hotter than expected, finding undervalued stocks is trickier than ever. Mega-cap market drivers like Nvidia (NASDAQ:NVDA) may enter correction territory as shares in the specific stock dropped nearly 10% since March highs. Even when (or if) inflation cools consistently, the prices of goods and services remain much higher than they were just two years back. If you’re searching for the best small-cap stocks to buy right now, look no further. Small-cap stocks are set to continue their record run as indices like the S&P 600 begin building momentum in light of rate cutting expectations and an improved economic outlook. Since nearly all companies, even the largest, started as small-caps, the sector tends to outperform larger indices in the long term. We’re in a particularly unique position, as a year’s worth of higher rates means the worst or least viab

March remained a solid stock season, and all signs point to continued strength if you’re looking for stocks to buy in April. Though inflation seems mildly stickier than previously planned, most expect the planned rate cuts to go into effect later this year, creating continued market momentum that’s surprisingly hard to shake. We’re mostly past fourth-quarter and end-of-year 2023 earnings reports, and, across the board, most popular companies performed in line with or beyond expectations. That re

Though 2024’s rate cut prospects remain somewhat uncertain, with Federal Reserve officials flip-flopping between “higher for longer” and planned drawdowns, preparing your portfolio for the inevitability is still a useful exercise. Remember that investors waiting on the sidelines and keeping cash in expectation of a massive market crash over the past year missed out on more than 30% gains in the S&P 500. Timing the market isn’t always an advisable approach, but when building long positions, it’s
